Micro eye and macro mind. Tomy always focuses its efforts on the new era and is determined to fathom out the real nature of a problem.

Through our own SEM (Scanning Electron Microscope) made by JEOL, and ICP (Inductively Coupled Plasma) analyzer made by SII have we been researching and developing new materials that solve metal allergy problems, and furthermore we have purchased an EPMA (Electron Probe Micro Analyzer) by SHIMADZU in order to analyze the elemental composition of a material by ourselves, greatly upgrading our facilities for micro-scale investigations. The combination of a “micro eye” and a “macro mind”, taking into view the entire length of the 21st century, forms the backbone that supports Tomy’s Research & Development.
